in-situ presented it's brand new system "DotScan for Braille Books" at the world conference for blind people / Braille21 in Leipzig.

At the world conference Braille21 in Leipzig (27. - 30. Sept) in Leipzig, in-situ presented it's new Braille scanning system "DotScan for Braille books and magazines" for the first time. Based on in-situ's award winning 3D SFS Technology the system allows to scan whole Braille pages of Braille books or magazines within seconds. A smart Braille recognition algorithm based on a 3D representation of the page allows to scan even old and worn out books.
