     Title: Braille Inspection regarding EN15823:2010
Read more about how to use DotScan to fulfill requirements regarding EN15823:2010.

In 2010 the new standard EN15823:2010 was released. In particular, this new standard defines the height requirements of applied Braille on pharmaceutical packaging. According to this standard, embossed Braille points shall have a target height of 0.2 mm with less than 5% of the points below 0.12 mm and less than 1% below 0.1 mm.

We have implemented this evaluation into our new software version, DotScan 3.0. It is possible to set the system to inspect against a fixed height threshold, or use the requirements of this new standard. All results will show up on your report depending on which evaluation method you've chosen.
